A classic two-chimney BBQ smoker that will give you unforgettable cooking experiences. Food prepared using the BBQ method is juicy, natural and smoky. Wood as a fuel ensures the best taste.
The Q-1000 is an oven for the serious fan or professional caterer and is easy to handle and maintain. Developed to the last detail, with all the extras that an expert – or lover – would find necessary. Maintains a very stable temperature and humidity level, which is ensured by two chimneys and heat directed from the center to the edges. The heat is regulated by air flow through the chimney flaps and the oven door – by closing them, you can stop the flow of oxygen and easily control the temperature. The oven material used is 3 mm steel, which, based on our experience, is the most optimal – it ensures a stable temperature and the oven itself can still be moved by human power (100 kg).
The Q-series oven has achieved first place at Grillfest, won various stages of BBQ championships, received second place at the Grillstock Festival in England, and has also participated in the European BBQ Championships, where it achieved a respectable result in the top ten.
The Q-series oven is organized over 300 barbecue training courses (trainer Enn Tobreluts, European BBQ champion), which proves the durability and reliability of the oven.
Training with Q-series ovens also young chefs at Tallinn Service School, Haapsalu Vocational Education Center, and Finnish vocational schools.
2015 updates:
– a 50% larger capacity intermediate pipe between the heating and cooking hearth, which ensures faster heating of the oven and significantly less sooting due to more oxygen supply;
– The thermometer is mounted on the oven lid, not under the chimney like on older models. The thermometer on the lid allows you to more conveniently monitor the temperature and measure the temperature inside the oven from the center of the oven.
The oven can also be used as a charcoal grill, for which we have developed a special charcoal bath. The charcoal bath must be placed at the bottom of the smoker drawer for grilling, first removing the fat baths. The special shape of the charcoal bath and the perforation of the material ensure sufficient air exchange, as a result of which the charcoal remains "lively". You can grill with both charcoal and grill briquettes. It is possible to "produce" the charcoal yourself in the firebox before grilling, by burning wood, which creates charcoal. A combined option can also be used - the coals provide heat in the charcoal bath and a few pieces of wood burn in the firebox. The result is a quickly prepared grilled dish with a light smoky flavor.
What can you bake in Q series ovens?
Wood as a classic fuel for barbecue always ensures a good and natural taste. It depends on your imagination, but classic BBQ dishes include ribs, neck and fillet pieces, cod, whole animal and bird carcasses and fish. Fish prepared using the BBQ method is becoming increasingly popular and the reason for this is simple: the result is significantly juicier than when smoked in a classic smokehouse. Flounder, bream, perch, trout and salmon - all Estonian fish that taste very good when smoked are even better when cooked using the BBQ method! While cooking meat using the BBQ method is a relatively long process, cooking fish takes an average of 20-30 minutes.
The BBQ oven (and cooking method) allows you to prepare a real party hit (e.g. culinary ribs, various fish) from simple and reasonably priced ingredients.
What kind of taste does food have in a BBQ oven?
Food prepared using the BBQ method is juicy, natural and smoky in flavor. The intensity of the smoky flavor depends on several factors: the temperature and humidity levels in the oven, the raw materials of the food being prepared, the addition of additional smoke, the wood used for heating, and the cooking time.
